Insiders predict that 2019 will belong to Summer Walker, and this collaboration with Drake will set the Atlanta native on a higher-profile industry path. The trip-hop-influenced, Arsenio Archer-produced remix, featuring a signature auto-tune verse from Mr. Champagnepapi, will undoubtedly climb charts. Though “Girls Need Love” isn’t Walker’s latest single off the “Last Day of Summer” album, it’s a fan favorite, which bodes well for the updated version.
