Do’s & Don’ts

  • Keep images and styles online: upload your pictures and design files to a public host (like an image server) and link to them directly so they appear correctly in your email.
  • Test locally first: Open your .html in a browser to confirm everything displays correctly before pasting.
  • Send a test email to yourself, then check both desktop and mobile clients for layout and functionality.
  • Use Bcc: Paste your prepared contacts into the Bcc field to protect subscriber privacy.
  • Avoid spam triggers: Limit exclamation marks (max 2), avoid ALL-CAPS phrases, and skip words like “FREE!!!”, “Act Now!”, or “Risk‑Free”.
  • Check broken links: Click every link in your test message to ensure nothing returns 404.
  • Preview on multiple apps: Review in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and mobile apps to catch quirks.

Now you’re ready to send! Your custom HTML will look great and land in inboxes exactly as intended.
